- Create multimodal content for a webpage on a pre-existing website
- Students will collaborate in groups of 4–5

- Introduction and Orientation Day: (11-22)
- Overview of the Recording Studio (RS)
- Overview of the Digital Humanities Lab (DHL)
- Workshop Days: (12-2/4/6)
- Group work sessions alternating between the DHL and RS.

- Adobe Fuse CC (Beta)This software is a 3D computer graphic software that allows users to create 3D characters. It can import and integrate user generated content into the character creator.
- Autodesk MeshmixerA 3D modeling software that allows users to design or clean up 3D scans or files (Opens a new tab).
- Dremel Digilab 3D SlicerAllows users to slice CAD files without an Internet connection (Opens a new tab).
- Fusion 360Is a cloud-based CAD, CAM, and CAE modeling software that allows users to design, engineer, and manufacture models. Can also export designs in STL file. You can create a free account with the education license using the link above (Opens a new tab).
- PreFormImport an STL or OBJ file into this print preparation software from Formlabs (Opens a new tab).
- Adobe Acrobat DCView, create, manipulate, print and manage files in Portable Document Format (PDF). Can also create, edit, convert, digitally sign, encrypt, export and publish PDF files (opens a new tab).
- Adobe Dreamweaver CCThis software is an HTML editor and uses a visual design surface known as Live View and comes with syntax highlighting, code completion and code collapsing. It allows users to design, code and manage websites including those on mobile.
- Adobe ExtendScript Toolkit CCThis is a development and debugging tool for JavaScript scripts. It is to be used in conjunction Adobe programs
- Adobe Fireworks CS6This software is a bitmap and vector graphics editor. It is made for web designers who want to rapidly create website prototypes and application interfaces.
- Adobe Illustrator CCThis is a vector graphic editor that allows users to select, create, and manipulate objects. Users can draw, type, paint, reshape, slice and cut, move and zoom, and graph.
- Adobe inCopy CCThis software is a word processor that can be integrated with Adobe InDesign. It enables users to write, edit, and design documents.
- Adobe InDesign CCThis software is a desktop publishing and typesetting application. Users can create posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newspapers, presentation, books, and ebooks.
- Adobe Lightroom ClassicThis software allows users to import/save, view, organize, tag, edit, and share digital images. The software keeps the original image and the edits are saved as another file. It cannot doctor photos, add text or 3D objects on images. Images must be imported onto the database and in recognized image formats before editing.
- Adobe Photoshop CCAn imaging software that allows users to manipulate, crop, resize, correct color on digital photos.
- Adobe XD CCA tool for designing and prototyping user experience for web and mobile apps.
- Font BookUsers can view fonts and install them on the desktop and have available for all applications to use.
- Image CaptureAllows users to upload pictures from digital cameras or scanners that are connected to the coputer or network. Not an organizational tool.
- Microsoft WordAllows users to create documents using different page layouts, custom diagrams and images. Includes publishing layout.
- PagesSoftware developed by Apple that allows users to create documents with different templates and themes.
- PreviewApple supported software that allows users to view and print digital images, PDFs and other file types. Can also encrypt PDFs and restrict their use.
- Adobe After Effects CCDigital visual effects, motion graphics and compositing application and used in the post-production process of film making and television production. Can be used for keying, tracking, compositing and animation (opens a new tab).
- Adobe Animate CCThis software allows user to design vector graphics, animate, create online videos, websites, and web applications, and create rich internet applications and video games.
- Adobe Audition CCA digital audio workstation featuring multitrack, non-destructive mix/edit environment and a destructive-approach waveform editing view.
- Adobe Character Animator CCThis software combines live-motion capture with a multi-track recording system to control layered 2D puppets drawn in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. It can be used to produce live and non-live animation.
- Adobe Flash Builder 4.7A development environment for building games and applications using actionScript language and Flex Framework. Develop games, build high-performance apps, debug and test, and code.
- Adobe Media Encoder CCThis software allows users to compress audio and video files.
- Adobe Prelude CCSoftware that is an ingest and logging tool for metadata for searching, post-production workflows, and footage lifecycle management.
- Adobe Premiere Pro CCAn application that allows users to edit videos at high resolutions, use audio sample- level editing and sound mixing.
- Adobe Scout CCWorks in tandem with Adobe flash player to allow visual profiles of Adobe Flash running on desktop or mobile platforms.

- MotionAn Apple Software application that allows users to create and edit motion graphics, titling for video production and film production, and 2D and 3D compositing for visual effects.
- PhotoboothSoftware application created by Apple that allows users to take photos with backdrops and display the preview of the camera's view in real time.
- PhotosApple photo management and editing application that allows users to combine time and location metadata to each photo.
- Quicktime PlayerApple developed software that can encode and transcode video and audio formats, capable of handling various formats of digital video, picture, sound, panoramic images, and interactivity.
- BooksAn OS software that allows users to download and read books. It is able to read contents of pages to users when Voiceover is activated.
- KeynoteA presentation software developed by Apple that allows users to make presentations and share with groups.
- Microsoft ExcelAllows users to use calculations, graphing tools, pivot tables in a grid of cells, rows and columns to organize and manipulate data.
- Microsoft OneNoteAllows users to gather notes (handwritten or typed), drawings, screenshots, and audio in one place that can be shared over the Internet.
- Microsoft OutlookSoftware that can be used as an email application, calendar, task manager, contact manager, note taking, and journaling.
- Microsoft PowerpointSoftware used to provide, review, and deliver visuals for presentations.
- PhotostageA presentation software that allows users to create slideshows with photos and video clips. Users may add captions, music and narration. Users can upload this work online or to their phones.
- TextEditOpen-source word processor and text editor that allows users to format text, justify text, and include graphics and other multimedia elements. Includes the ability to read and write different character encodings. Does not support multiple columns of text.
