Your Liaison Librarians

A library liaison is a librarian who has been formally designated as the primary contact person between the Linscheid Library and assigned academic departments at East Central University. This person serves as a contact for assistance with, or information about, any library service or issue. In other words, the liaison fosters two-way communication between the library and the university.

Need to schedule a session with your study group? We have Group Study Rooms on the 3rd (main) and 2nd floors of the library that are available for you to reserve! They can seat 6-8 individuals comfortably, and two (Tiger and Bengal) contain wheelchair accessible seating. The rooms feature whiteboards with markers and an eraser, and a projector or screen that can be hooked up to a laptop. Equipment for the 3rd floor Group Study Room can be checked out at the Circulation Desk, and equipment for the 2nd floor Group Study Rooms can be checked out from Collection Servicers (2nd Floor). These rooms can be booked up to two weeks in advance.

We also have four Individual Study Rooms available on the 2nd floor, if you are looking for a quiet space to study in private. These are designed for individual use, but they can seat 2-3 people inside. These rooms can be booked up to one week in advance.
