Travel back through history (1851-1922) and access the NYT archives using the TimesMachine.
To activate your access:
1. Go to https://www.nytimes.com/activate-access/edu-access.
2. Create a NYTimes.com account using your school email address.
3. Download the free NYT mobile app at nytimes.com/mobile to read articles on your personal device.
If you want to access materials that Linscheid Library does not have, you can request them through Interlibrary Loan (ILL). This can include articles not available in full text, books not on the shelves, dissertations from other institutions, and more. Materials will either be sent to your ECU email as PDFs, or delivered to Linscheid Library's circulation desk.

East Central University's Linscheid Library houses the complete microfilm collection of the Ada Evening News, which covers 1901-2007. Any library patron who wishes to view this collection but is unable to visit the library in person may submit a request to the Collection Services Department, which will scan and send the requested articles.
