To commemorate the 400th anniversary of the first enslaved people arriving in America, the York Times Magazine created an entire issue to exploring the history of slavery and mapping the ways in which it has touched nearly every aspect of contemporary life in the United States. Researchers at Berkeley created a New Deal archive and interactive map of buildings and places that were created by the WPA, as a result of the New Deal. Users can search for artists, buildings by state and city, and learn about New Deal sites (Opens a new tab).

This is an open-access electronic resource for the study of avant-garde aesthetic periodicals of the British fin de siècle. Edited by Dennis Denisoff and Lorraine Janzen Kooistra, the yellow nineties allow users to search and analyze physical features of the content.
