Mathematica Online

1. Create your WolframID (if you already have one please skip to Section 2 below)
   • Go to https://one.wolframcloud.com/
   • New users who do NOT already have a WolframID will need to use the link at the bottom of the box which says "Don't have a Wolfram ID?" and click on "Create one."
   • Fill out form using your ECU email account only (gmail or other email addresses will not work)
   • Click "Create Wolfram ID"
   • Check your email and click the link to validate your WolframID
2. Request access to Mathematica Online:
   • Click on this link for your campus and fill out the form - https://user.wolfram.com/portal/requestAK/9d82313293f14d43e29dd9d1a59fe590f0dc51d1
   • Once you receive your validation - go to wolframcloud.com and click on "Sign in"
   • Proceed with your WolframID and password

The following companies have great projects that allow students to gather and sort data, and can be transformed into labs as well:

• Citizen science on iNaturalist (https://www.inaturalist.org/) 
• Zooniverse  (https://www.zooniverse.org)

Lab kits:

• Hands-On Labs (https://www.holscience.com/)  - provides assembled kits 
• eScience Labs (https://esciencelabs.com/) - provides assembled kits 
• Carolina (https://www.carolina.com/) - allows you to assemble a kit for a lab you’ve designed and then have students purchase the kit

Simulations: 

The simulations found on the following websites are good free resources for an intro lab class

• PhET (https://phet.colorado.edu/)
• Howard Hughes Medical Institute’s BioInteractive (https://www.biointeractive.org/)

Field Work:

• Labster (https://www.labster.com/) - detailed simulations that walk students through experiments as if they were in a laboratory or doing field work.
