Adafest is an annual festival that showcases local musicians and artist. It is sponsored by Ada Nissan and the Chickasaw Nation.

The Nixon’s lead singer Zac Maloy was an ECU student and adjunct professor Will Boggs was the lead gutiar player in the band
One of the performing bands was Vlad’s Fault, which includes 3 faculty: Casey Lowery, Dr. Andrew Wells and Dr. Vladamir Ufimtsev.
Dr. Brad Jessop is one of the primary organizers of the event
Patrick Baumann created and organized AdaFest’s first film festival this year

Alumni
Adam Hampton, Jason Alexander and Kenny Pitts formed Outsiders Production during their time at ECU. They showed “ Play It Loud” and Unusual Calling of Charlie Christmas” at AdaFest film festival.
